Presidency ordered to disclose Khampepe Report

I wrote this article on the presidency being ordered to disclose Khampepe report for the Webber Wentzel Media Newsletter.

On 17 June 2008 the Mail & Guardian newspaper submitted an application in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act to the Presidency for access to a report on the 2002 Zimbabwean national elections (the report).

The report was prepared for then President Thabo Mbeki by two judges, Sisi Khampepe and Dikgang Moseneke, who were sent to Zimbabwe by President Mbeki as independent electoral observers in 2002.

The Webber Wentzel media team has been acting for the Mail & Guardian since the inception of the case.
